Deciduous vine that needs support on trellis, pergola or wires. Grown for bunches of sweet yellow green grapes. Young leaves can be used in cooking and vines grown over pergola make excellent shade. Eat fresh or dried grapes or use in wine making.

Care: Will grow in most free draining garden soils in a sunny site. Grapes don’t need over rich soil as this favours foliage over fruit. Water regularly by deep soaking over hot weather.   Prune vines in winter.

Large round-oval fruit with golden-yellow skin and a very juicy flesh. A sweet, aromatic slight muscat flavour. Excellent quality. 

About this plant: grows 1 to 2 m, self pollinating, frost tolerant, lose its leaves in winter, full sun, well draining soil, grown from a cutting, grows well in subtropical, warm temperate and arid climates, fruits in approximately two years, harvest months are February and March. Cut the vine right back each season after fruiting to encourage lots of new growth in the upcoming season.
