A very rare release from Claxton's, an independent bottler that has not been tasted by many. Great value and heavier cask influence than the mainstream core releases by Aberlour.

This is non chill, no colour and natural cask strength even in the low forties due to the cask level lowering faster than planned.

Distilled on 18th June 1992, bottled in 2021

About Aberlour

The Aberlour distillery was founded in 1879 by James Fleming, though distillation occurred at the site earlier. A devastating fire in 1898 destroyed much of the distillery and its whisky, but it was promptly rebuilt with modern equipment by Charles Doig. It was sold to S. Campbell & Sons Ltd in 1945 and later became part of the Pernod Ricard group in 1974, which helped establish its strong market presence in France
