Abhainn Araig is a river on the beautiful isle of Islay that feeds into the Margadale River, the pure spring water source for all of Bunnahabhain Whisky.

This Scotch is a union of Bunnahabhain Spirit matured in ex-Bourbon casks, ex-Pedro Ximenez Sherry, and octave casks built from the finest seasoned European oak. While many Whiskies can't handle the full sherried maturation and the specially seasoned octaves, it's a walk in the park for Bunnahabhain.

It's unmistakably Bunnahabhain, complex, and lush. Just imagine the aromas of cigars, ginger, and chocolate and how they beautifully translate to a velvety and luxurious texture with raisin, raspberries, and chocolate notes on the palate. Then the PX kicks in with its honeyed macadamias that caress you to the deep toffee finish. Ah, pure joy.
