It is a lightweight cover, finished in a mesh outer textile for maximum breathability and lined with Back on Track's trade-mark Welltex ceramic fabric, ensuring optimum therapeutic benefits.

It is used as an all-year-round cover, being used on its own through the warmer months, and as an under-rug through the cooler months. It is particularly useful as a pre-competition garment.

The Mesh Rug features double chest buckles and crossed belly surcingles, a tail flap for extra spinal coverage and a fillet string.

Tip: There is a correlation between the quality of movement and performance. Back flexibility is essential. When using as a pre-competition cover, ensure application at least two hours prior to competing. In this way, your horses back will be loose and supple, and any stress or tension will be alleviated.

Back on Track products can be machine washed at 30°C with a mild detergent. Do not use bleach or fabric softener. Do not tumble dry as it will destroy the product. Do not iron in excess of 50°C.
