Ichiro Akuto founded the famous Chichibu distillery in 2008 and quickly gained notoriety for his masterful drams and golden drops. Whatever he touches soon becomes a must-have, and in the Japanese Whisky universe, his products are as coveted as the rarest Katana.

Every year, a new limited release is grabbed by Whisky aficionados all over the world. Ichiro's Malt Chichibu x Komagatake 2021 Japanese Whisky is another collectable delicacy with only 2,150 bottles released. It’s aged in a combination of new American oak, first-fill Bourbon barrels, and new hogsheads. Bottled at 53.5% ABV and non-chill filtered, it greets with honey, dark cocoa, nutmeg, and warm pear while the palate offers ripe guava, pineapple, ginger, and black peppercorn. Pro tip: get it before it’s too late.
