It's been well established that the OEM sway bar on these Powerstrokes has little to no movement at all. As Carli states, people fail to look past the front coils and rear leaf springs when looking to "soften" the factory ride; the OEM sway bar is essentially a brace locking the axle to the frame. This can cause a severe chatter or shake felt within the entire truck.

This Torsion Sway Bar is the perfect upgrade for those looking to lighten the last spring on the truck, maximizing the ride quality, and providing a small amount of differentiation side to side before progressively engaging to add the needed control as leverage is applied, very reminiscent of an independent front suspension!
