~1736 Door Pocket~

A lovely wool applique & punch needle door pocket measuring 15 1/2" (including it's wool handle) 

I just love combining punch needle and wool applique'.  I think they look so very lovely together.  I've created this piece, using my favorite Valdani perle cotton in lovely tans and creams with three different shades of blue.  The wool applique on top is done with a lovely dark tan, hand dyed, wool  and appliqued, with a lovely soft blue, hand dyed wool numbers ~ 1736 ~.  The back, of the pocket, is done in a light tan, hand dyed, wool.
