Schmaltz (4 oz or 8 oz)Our schmaltz is rendered chicken fat we make in house from our organically fed chickens (Fogline and Rootdown Farms). It is available in two sizes. Schmaltz will hold well in the refrigerator for up to 6 months, but if you are using it infrequently, storing it in the freezer will keep it in best quality for much longer! (As a fat, it will stay pretty soft and scoopable, even while frozen)
