As part of our expanding Peugeot and Citroen product range, AIRTEC Motorsport is proud to launch our intercooler upgrade for the DS3 1.6 turbo to offer increased performance through reduced charge temperatures in comparison to the original intercooler. This is particularly important to remapped examples.

Our solution to improving the OEM intercooler set up within the confines behind the bumper assembly is based upon a high flow, single-pass core design, that’s wider, taller and deeper than the original. This offers a massive increase in frontal area and a huge increase in capacity, which allows it to make the most of the air flow provided. However, there is still plenty of air flow to the top section of the radiator, which is essential for hotter climate countries.

Together with our high-flow, moulded one-piece cast end tanks ensure flow is directed correctly and efficiently, the AIRTEC Motorsport intercooler offers much greater efficiency and volume over standard.

Despite this improvement, the kit fits neatly behind the original bumper and requires no trimming or cutting, and can be reverted back to standard with no issues. The comprehensive fitting kit includes all the correct fixtures and fittings, step-by-step instructions with pictures and Pro Hoses silicone connectors.

The intercooler is available in a Pro-Series Black finish (with or without the AIRTEC logo).

Please note: This fits both pre- and post-facelift models. However allow more time to fit for face-lifted models as the bumper requires the foam insert to be removed and the intercooler brackets adapted to suit.

Rolling road tested at AmD Tuning in Essex. Test car fitted with Milltek cat back exhaust. sports cat, intake system and Stage 2 remap.
