Radium Catch Can Kit — BMW E46 M3 (Fluid Lock)

An oil catch can is essential on any performance vehicle to protect the engine from elevated crankcase blow-by accumulated during aggressive driving. Excess oil-saturated air circulating back into the intake stream degrades performance, contaminates the throttle body and intake manifold, and can mask early signs of engine wear. The Radium Engineering Catch Can Kit for the BMW E46 M3 solves this with a purpose-built, closed-loop Fluid Lock system that keeps your intake air clean and your engine running at its best.

The Fluid Lock configuration does not vent to atmosphere (VTA) — making it fully emissions and track legal. Clean, filtered air routes back through the engine to be burned, promoting negative crankcase pressure for optimal performance and preventing oil vapours from entering the cabin.

Note: The catch can mounts in the RH engine bay compartment near the firewall. Compatible with early models where the ABS module is in this compartment, and with later models featuring a secondary PCV system. RHD models can be fitted with modifications to the bracket.
